I create a safe and supportive environment that is built on mutual trust and respect, where clients' voices are heard, and transformation happens collaboratively. I practice with cultural sensitivity by incorporating clients' backgrounds, values, and belief systems into therapy. I use an integrative approach to counseling to meet my clients' individualized needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Psycho-education interventions.

I have experience working in community mental health settings with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Education
I received my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and am currently obtaining my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Amridge University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas certified by the state of Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
